Value- The degree of lightness or darkness in a color. The relation of light and shade in a painting, drawing. Color Wheel- A circle with different colored sectors used to show relationship between colors.
Primary- A color, as red, yellow, or blue, that in mixture yields other colors.
Secondary- A color, as orange, green, or violet, produced by mixing two primary colors.
Complementary- One of a pair of primary or secondary colors opposed to the other member of the pair on a schematic chart or scale (color wheel) as green opposed to red, orange opposed to blue, or violet opposed to yellow.
